In this time of Covid-19, Peace House Community is open from noon to 3:00 p.m. each weekday. Drinks and snacks are served in the parking lot and provide a space for community members to meet. Peace House Community, started by Sister Rose, is celebrating 35 years of serving homeless and marginalized men, women, and children in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis! We will be holding a virtual fundraiser on Saturday October17th at 7pm. Known as “The Living Room of the Franklin neighborhood”, Peace House Community offers daytime shelter for more than 80 individuals every Monday through Friday. Privately funded and run mostly by volunteers, Peace House Community offers compassion, acceptance, socialization, and other necessary services.
