Dear Members and Friends,
Minnesota Chapter 27 of Veterans For Peace has decided it is time for we veterans to speak out and offer our thanks and gratitude to Alex Pretti not only for his life but for his work and sacrifice on our behalf at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. We also want to express our commitment to him that we will continue to do all we can to make sure justice is served for him and Renee Nicole Good that the perpetrators of their murders be arrested and brought to trial.
We will be hosting a Solemn Memorial for Alex Pretti this coming Friday February 6, 2026 beginning at noon at the site of the murder of Alex at 26th and Nicolett. We hope you will all join us and invite any other veterans and friends. This will also be a National Veterans For Peace “call to action” for other VFP chapters across the country.
Please spread the word to other veterans and friends and print the attached flyer and distribute and post widely.
If any of you know or have access to Bruce Springsteen, please invite him to our Service so he can sing his new song about Minneapolis.
